Othello James Under Scrutiny

Battlegrounds contestant Othello James is under fire after sources stated that he slapped his girlfriend, Desdemona King, behind the scenes of the hit dance show.

Desdemona’s father and Battleground’s producer, Brabantio King, tried to have Othello removed from the show early in the season. Now, many think he should be pulled from the roster.

“It’s embarrassing, it’s disrespectful, and it’s not the way you should treat a woman,” said Desdemona’s best friend, Emilia Welsh.
